Join Aaron Jessup
for an amazing weekend of community and skill building
on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Maui . First we will
establish a firm foundation of
contact improvisation vocabulary, then we'll use that
common language to take our dancing to a higher level.
Flight is a state of freedom; a state of pure joy in both body and mind. In this weekend we will explore the dynamics, principles and techniques of safe, unforced lifting and flying. Come prepared to sweat, play, get upside down, be challenged and have fun! And, as if that's not enough, it's at the end the whale-sighting season.

Friday
night - facilitated open jam
Sat. and Sun – 4 hours of class time each day.

Aaron Jessup:
A second-generation professional juggler, Aaron's first movement discipline was circus acrobatics. However, his first movement love was contact improvisation, which he discovered in 1990. He has been teaching workshops and at dance festivals since 1997. A long time bodyworker (with a private practice in San Francisco), Aaron also taught for a year at the Boulder College of Massage therapy. more
